Mobula and More
An Expedition with Baja Odyssey
Swim, snorkel, and freedive in the breathtaking Sea of Cortez — home to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on Earth.
Join Baja Odyssey for a small-group ocean safari designed for those who crave real adventure, connection, and unforgettable encounters with marine life. Our signature expedition, Mobula & More, puts you in the heart of one of nature’s most awe-inspiring events: the world’s largest migration of Mobula rays. Along the way, we’ll keep our eyes on the horizon for orcas, blue whales, sea lions, dolphins, and more.
Every morning begins with the sun rising over the Sea of Cortez. After a fresh, delicious breakfast, we step straight onto the boat from the beach in front of the hotel. From there, we venture into open water for 6–8 hours of searching, watching, and—when the moment is right—slipping into the water to swim alongside some of the ocean’s most incredible creatures.
This isn’t a staged tour—it’s a real wildlife experience. The ocean is wild and unpredictable. Some days are quiet, others are filled with magic. But the thrill is in the search, the anticipation, and the privilege of encountering animals in their natural environment.
We keep our groups small to ensure personal attention, comfort, and the best chance of meaningful encounters. Whether you're a snorkeler, freediver, or ocean lover with no prior experience, our friendly, experienced team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Orca Regulations
If we’re lucky enough to encounter orcas, new government regulations now limit the amount of time we can spend with these magnificent creatures. These rules are designed to enhance the quality of your experience while minimizing our impact on their natural behavior. Please reach out to learn more about how these guidelines shape our expeditions.
